Prolonging sleep (brought to you by a 4 year old.)

By

Unusual ways our 4 year old stalls going to bed.

  1. Brushed his teeth, then said “Can you take my blood pressure?”
Me: No, you’re fine go to bed.
  2. Well, how about my blood sugar?
Me: no, you’re fine go to bed.
  3. I need oil on my chest. (Essential oils he loves). He put the oil on his chest.
(Each of these were a different trip in.)
  4. Back in again, this time he says, “I cut my finger, it’s bleeding really bad.” Me: no it’s not, go to bed.
  5. Back again, “Lock how much it’s healed.”
  6. And again after a makeshift bandage was made for the tiny drop of blood that was already off his finger. “I still need a bandaid.”
  7. Bubba putting his shorts back on to retrieve the sought after band aid and telling him he was healed.
  8. Back upstairs to see me again. “Will you see if I have a fever?” Felt of his head.. Me: No… you don’t.
  9. Back again…”thanks for letting me know I was healed.”
He’s the baby…he may be a little spoiled.
