Hey y’all! It’s me again! It’s been awhile. I have a few questions for you. If you are doing the dreadful elf on the shelf you’ll feel my pain on this. On school nights we make the kids sleep in their beds, and that is the rule and no exception allowed. Weekends are a free for all. We have a 5 year old at the end of our bed in the floor and the 8 year-old is on the couch. You never know where they will be.
My question for you is….what did you think the tooth fairy was? Girl/Boy? Is the tooth fairy now going by a they/them? My husband says male, I said female.
The elves are in the living room on the mantle where the 8 year old is sleeping in the living room. My husband came up and i said, “we are going to have to move those #$%*, elves. In the twinkling of an eye, he snuck and put those elves down the back of his pants and smuggled them to my 3 tier tray in the entry hall where he proceeded to knock over a tree on the top of it and made noise while still not getting caught. He is goooooood!!!
The 5 year old lost his 2nd tooth in 2 or 3 days today so the tooth fairy had no cash on hand. I said, just get it from one of their wallets. He said, good idea. The smallest they had was a $5. I said, since Kimber (8 yr old) has been so mean to him today you should give it from hers. So, Kimber is donating to the tooth fairy fund tonight.
We have to keep their money hidden because Kimber would manipulate River in to saying she would hold his money and would “lose” it. They are 8 and 5. We don’t live anywhere they can spend it. Lol.
Next question. What did you think the tooth fairy did with all.of your teeth? My husband said throw them away. I still see it to this day. A little tinkerbell like fairy getting my tooth and taking it to a little surf like village but every thing was made of teeth. No Cobblestone. Everything teeth. Sidewalks, homes, roofs.
Last question. I’m on kids #7 & 8. I’ve forgotten some tooth fairy visits in the past. What do you do in that situation? I would get the $1 bill in my hand and start looking around the bed and under the bed. I would always “find” the money.
